WAVEY · Answers
How do I take a deposit for an appointment, and what happens to the balance?
Set a deposit amount on your WAVEY booking calendar. The client pays only the deposit online to lock the time slot, and the rest is tracked as a balance due at the appointment. WAVEY shows the balance on the booking, in your dashboard, and in the reminder emails, so nothing is forgotten. If the deposit is the same as or more than the full price, the client just pays in full up front.

Does the client pay the full price or just the deposit?
Just the deposit, online, at booking. The remaining balance is tracked and shown as due at the appointment.
Where does the balance amount show up?
On the booking record, in your calendar dashboard, and in the booking confirmation and reminder emails sent to you and the client.
Can each service have its own deposit?
Yes. A deposit can be set per service, or left to inherit the calendar default, or set to zero to disable it for one service.
What if the deposit is more than the price?
WAVEY treats that as paid in full and does not overcharge the client.
