We’re going to the mooon, a rap competition where Chicago artists prove who’s really the best through three rounds: a timed cypher, a 1v1 battle, and individual song performances. The event is a WordTaffy x Beyond the Surface production, hosted by Sista Afrika and judged by GLC. Competitors will go head to head for a $200 grand prize, along with beat packs, studio sessions, and more. Sounds by DJ Sleepy all night. The night also features gift bags, creative vendors, live performances by Zion Ali, and a stand up comedy set by ChickenWang.
