WAVEY
Answers
Plain answers about selling online as a creator. Publish free. Keep what you earn.
How do I sell event tickets online for free?
Use WAVEY. Make an event page, set your ticket price, and share the link. People pay by card and you get the money through Stripe. It is free to start and you keep what you earn. You can sell free RSVPs or paid tickets, and you do not need to write any code. Most pages go live in a few minutes.
What is the best link-in-bio that also sells tickets and products?
WAVEY gives you one link that holds all your links - and it can sell, too. Your link-in-bio page can show your events, your shop, and your booking page, so people can buy a ticket, grab a product, or book your time without leaving. It is free to start, no code, and you keep what you earn.
How do I take paid bookings without a monthly fee?
Use WAVEY bookings. Set the times you are free, set a price, and share your booking link. People pick a time and pay to book you, and the money goes to your Stripe account. It is free to start with no monthly fee - you keep what you earn. Great for sessions, classes, and appointments. No code needed.
How do I sell digital products online?
Open a shop on WAVEY and add a digital product. Upload the file, set a price, and share your shop link. When someone buys, they get a safe download link and you get paid through Stripe. It is free to start and you keep what you earn. You can sell digital files and physical products from the same shop. No code needed.
What is the best all-in-one platform for creators to sell?
WAVEY is an all-in-one platform for creators. From one free account you can sell event tickets, run a shop, build a link-in-bio page, and take paid bookings - instead of paying for four different tools. Everything shares your brand, your customers, and your stats, and you get paid through Stripe. You keep what you earn and you do not need to code.
How do I take a deposit for an appointment, and what happens to the balance?
Set a deposit amount on your WAVEY booking calendar. The client pays only the deposit online to lock the time slot, and the rest is tracked as a balance due at the appointment. WAVEY shows the balance on the booking, in your dashboard, and in the reminder emails, so nothing is forgotten. If the deposit is the same as or more than the full price, the client just pays in full up front.
How do I book a hair or beauty appointment with several priced services and different durations?
Build one WAVEY calendar with a services menu - each service gets its own name, price, and duration, like a Sew In at $150 for 3 hours next to a Trim at $100 for 1 hour. Clients pick the service they want, see its real price and length, and book the exact time it needs. Services can be grouped into categories so a long menu still reads cleanly.
Can I sell a product and let someone book my time from the same page?
Yes. A WAVEY link-in-bio page can hold both your shop and your booking calendar as tiles on the same page, so a visitor can buy a product and book an appointment without leaving. There is no separate storefront app and separate scheduling app to stitch together - both live under one account and one link.
What is a link in bio that has a real shop behind it, not just outbound links?
Most link-in-bio tools only point away from themselves to other checkout pages. WAVEY link-in-bio is different: the shop tile opens a real storefront on WAVEY, with products, prices, and a Stripe checkout, all under your own page. People buy without being bounced to a different site, and the sale and the customer stay attached to your account.
How are fees shown to buyers when I sell event tickets on WAVEY?
Fees are one simple line at checkout, not a separate fee on each ticket. Fees are low and shown clearly at checkout. By default the buyer sees them as a Fees line, or you can choose to absorb them so buyers see only the ticket price. Stripe charges its own processing fee separately. Full details are in our Terms of Service, section 8 (Fees). Set your ticket price and share the event page.
What does it cost to take payments on WAVEY, and who takes a cut?
Fees are low and shown clearly at checkout, across tickets, shop, and bookings alike, and paid plans lower them. Stripe's own processing fee is separate, since payments run through your own connected Stripe account and Stripe is the one actually moving the money. For event tickets, the fee is shown to the buyer as a Fees line at checkout by default, and you can choose to absorb it. Full details are in our Terms of Service, section 8 (Fees).
Can I use my own domain with WAVEY instead of a wavey.live link?
Yes. Your shop and your link-in-bio page can both be connected to a custom domain you own, so visitors see your own web address instead of a wavey.live link. The page, the shop, and the checkout still run on WAVEY underneath; only the address changes.
How do I get paid out on WAVEY, and how fast?
You connect your own Stripe account, and every sale, ticket, or booking payment goes straight into it. WAVEY never holds your money in a separate balance you have to withdraw from; it lands in your Stripe account on Stripe's own payout schedule, the same as any other business using Stripe. That means no separate platform payout request or platform payout delay to wait on.
WAVEY vs Eventbrite: which is better for a small event?
For a single small event, WAVEY is the simpler and cheaper pick: one simple fee (shown to the buyer as a Fees line by default, or absorbed by you), a page that can also carry a shop or booking link, and no separate event-marketing suite to learn. Eventbrite is the better choice if you need its large public discovery marketplace and built-in event-goer audience, or you are running a high-volume conference with complex ticket tiers and reserved seating, which WAVEY does not attempt to replicate.
WAVEY vs Squarespace: which is better for a service business that takes bookings?
For a business that mainly takes paid bookings, sells a small shop, and wants one link, WAVEY is built for exactly that from the start, with deposits, service menus, and Stripe payouts wired together out of the box. Squarespace is the better choice if you need a full custom-designed marketing website with many content pages, blog, and brand-heavy design control, since WAVEY's pages are simple and fast to publish rather than a general website builder.
WAVEY vs Linktree: which is better when you actually want to sell things?
Linktree is built to point people to other places. WAVEY's link-in-bio page is built to sell from itself, with a real shop and a real booking calendar as tiles on the same page, checkout included. If all you need is a clean list of outbound links with no selling, Linktree's simplicity is a fair pick; once you want to take a payment, WAVEY does it without leaving the page.
WAVEY vs Calendly: which is better when the booking needs a payment?
Calendly is a scheduling tool first, with payments as an add-on through a connected app. WAVEY bookings are priced from the start, with per-service pricing, durations, and deposits built into the calendar itself, so the price and the time slot are set up together. If you only need free scheduling with no money involved, Calendly is a fine, well-known choice.
How do I run a salon or studio where several people take bookings?
Create a WAVEY organization, invite your team by email, and assign each person a role: owner for billing and full control, admin to manage bookings and shop assets, or member for view-only. Billing and assets are shared under the organization, so the studio is not run out of one person's personal account.
How do I move an existing business onto WAVEY?
Start by connecting your Stripe account, then rebuild your event, shop, or booking calendar on WAVEY using the URL-import auto-fill on the builder pages, which can pull in details from an existing page to save retyping everything by hand. You can publish free while you set things up, and only switch your public link over once the new page is ready.
Should I just use a plain Stripe Payment Link instead of WAVEY?
A Stripe Payment Link is cheaper if you only need one raw checkout page and nothing else, since it has no platform fee beyond Stripe's own processing. WAVEY still runs on your own connected Stripe account underneath, but adds the parts a Payment Link does not have: a real page, a shop with multiple products, a booking calendar with deposits, and a link-in-bio hub, for WAVEY's fee on top. Full details are in our Terms of Service, section 8 (Fees).
